According to my contract, Verizon will charge a $175 cancellation fee. I wonder if there’s any room for negotiation.
If other peoples’ experience is “no, no way”, then I won’t bother with the hassle of trying and being rejected. But if other people report that Verizon is sometimes willing to reduce or waive the early termination fee, then it may be worth the trouble to talk to them and try.
Has anyone had any luck with reducing Verizon’s early termination fee?
