Salary negotiations when involved with a recruiter?

Dredge asked:

I have received an offer through a recruiter and it is much lower than I’d like. The recruiter is asking for my bottom line which I wouldn’t give if I were working directly with the potential employer. Should I treat the recruiter as if he were an employer (i.e. make a counter that is closer to my original asking amount rather than my bottom line)?

ashley ♥ asked:

I bought a game off eBay from the United States and it was shipped by USPS. I received it and the game ended up not working properly. I contacted the seller on eBay and they told me to send it back. I was planning on sending it back in the same package they gave me. Can I just mark “return to sender” and mail it back or do I have to pay extra postage? I live in Canada so would I use Canada Post or USPS? I’m confused!

How long will the post office hold my package? It has been there for about 4 days already. How long will the post office keep it there for me? I’m really worried because I need the package before Wednesday!

ZaphodBeeblebroxx asked:

Will office workers and executives of the future sit in classrooms to get their executive education? Will it be delivered through Second Life or another virtual world? What role will Web 2.0 technologies play in executive education? Will we get our training through mobile phones? Will we train each other, through Wikis and similar technologies? If you are 20-25 years old now, or have experience of this, please let me know what you think about this. Thanks!

How does the process of shipping a package internationally work?

SerenitySmile asked:

I’m sending a package from the US to Canada.

It’s a gift, and contains 2 dvds, a photograph, a card, candy, and a gift card. It’s worth about $75. It weighs about 5 lbs

What are some restrictions to sending packages?
Do I use my own stamps, or how does it work at the post office? (in regards to paying)

And will this package be opened at customs?

Thanks for any info!
